Cats, like people, can become obese according to the type of diet to which they are subjected, it is for this reason that today we tell you what the ideal weight of a pet feline is, so you prevent yours from becoming very fat.

Cats have a slender and quite healthy body, since they must make different shapes with their bodies and they are generally flexible and almost elastic, so it is amazing to see when a house cat is oversized or overweight.

What do you need

  •  Healthy and balanced diet.
  • Attention.
  • Training.
  • Size.
  • Weight and age.
  • Health & Wellness.
  • Tranquility.
  • Special place.

Instructions

Cats, as we have said, must have an ideal weight to be able to run, jump and wiggle, so the most feasible by size and breed is not to exceed 15 kilos in weight, because from then on it is considered overweight, even cats. 15 kilos is already too much.

Never forget that dogs and cats must have a suitable weight for their size and breed, so you have to control the way you feed them and offer them a life without a sedentary lifestyle so that they grow up healthy and happy.

Diet, weight and obesity in cats

  1. Obese cats. They are those that are above their ideal weight and have various difficulties such as heart problems, hypertension, diabetes and other disorders that can make a dent in the health of our feline pets, therefore we must avoid being overweight with healthy food.
  2. Thin or fat. The idea is that the cat that does not present a little more meat, is not healthy and far from that, more than anything it is about avoiding that it exceeds the fat, but that it does not exceed the weight that it should have, which is why it is recommended a balance in your body without exceeding a maximum weight of 12 kilos.
  3. Eat to live. Many of the cats want to spend the day eating in an exaggerated way, so their owners are so kind that they consider the option of filling their bowl to eat at all times and the ideal is to make them a schedule like dogs and prevent them from gaining weight in excess.
  4. Feline diabetes. This is a disease that is killing cats due to the overweight that accumulates due to the amount of food they eat from our hands. Therefore, choose to give them healthy food according to their age as many times as necessary and thus keep them healthy.
  5. Support the weight. Cats, due to their size and structure, should not exceed their weight since they will not support it, therefore they should be kept at the correct weight, which is what we have said before, animal nutrition specialists recommend it.
  6. Race and height. What a cat can weigh will depend on the size of the feline in addition to its age, therefore it is essential to be in contact with the veterinarian to keep it at the ideal weight, in addition, a table appears in the food and feed for cats with the rations or portions that they should eat per day.
  7. The feline table for this reason we tell you about the feline tables so that you have an idea of what your cat can eat, so you can be prevented from providing essential nutrients to your pet without the need for their body mass to be in danger and obesity arrives.

Tips

  • Make your cat a daily exercise routine.
  • Find his special place and place something for him to entertain himself with.
  • Look for feed with the feline feeding tables.
